At the highest point of Koh Jum, an island between Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta and the mainland, Swedish tourist Anders took these spectacular and terrifying photos of the tsunami wave approaching the island and hitting the beach. No one was hurt on Koh Jum.
Tsunami alert drills are being continually practised on Thailand’s beaches, incidentally.
